The RGC50 is a compact gyrocompass, designed to enhance the navigation capabilities on small commercial, fishing vessels, and large pleasure yachts.

A gyrocompass eliminates the inconvenience and limitations of magnetic compasses, and provides a variety of electrical outputs to supply accurate and consistent heading information to other navigation equipment.

The NAIS-300 uses a sophisticated automatic digital time sharing technology which enables the exchange of static information like; MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service Identifier) Number, Vessel’s Name, Call Sign and Type. Also dynamic data like; Position, Course, Distance and more, from ship to ship, and from ship to shore based traffic stations. When connected to a compatible chart plotter, it will provide a representation of the position and movements of all AIS equipped vessels within VHF range.

The HR80 ensures that critical heading data can be monitored intuitively via simultaneous display in two complimentary formats (analogue and digital). As part of the Simrad IS80 instrument range, it sets the very highest standards in reliability and accuracy and is ideal for long periods of continuous use in all conditions.

The RF45X is a medium duty rudder feedback unit. Mechanically it is identical to it’s predecessor RF45, therefore it is a repairable rather than a potted throw away item.

Electrically it outputs a frequency (pulse width modulated) signal that matches with the J3XX input (AP35/AP50), but it can also output a frequency signal (selectable via internal jumpers) that matches with AP45 and AP9 Mk3. The RF45X can also operate on 24V DC, a useful feature when connected in a stand alone rudder angle indicator system. The unit is mounted close to the rudder stock and is mechanically connected to the rudder by the RF45 transmission link.

EPIRB technology has been proven in the commercial marine world. Once activated either automatically by contact with saltwater or manually, the EPIRB transmits a signal via satellite that can be picked up by rescue services to provide your location. On its own or in conjunction with the SA50 SART an EPIRB greatly enhances your chances of being rescued.
