The BRPC Software development kit (SDK) gives OEM developers the ability to integrate Simrad X-Band Broadband Radars with their own applications. The Broadband Radars have extremely low transmit power and can be used on both land and sea with unparalleled short range performance and resolution. Applications potentially include marine charting, land/sea security, unmanned vessels, military (stationary and moving), river navigation, boundary surveillance, fish farm monitoring, oil rig ship docking management and many others.
Simrad BRPC Functionality
BRPC SDK licenses are available inand two specifications, LL1 & LL2, giving two different levels of functionality.
NOTE: The communication protocol is high speed Ethernet based and works only on Windows platforms. These are not guaranteed.
